[ Character Profile ] – Zack is a carefree man that is the best of friends with Cloud and Sephiroth. He looks up to Angeal and respects the man greatly. His weapon of choice is that of a broadsword, much like Cloud. He enjoys spending time with his more serious friends and is normally happy if he gets either of the two reacting more than usual.

[ Appearance ] – Zack is a well-muscled man, but not overly so. He's been through SOLDIER training, and it shows. Mako enhancement has given him strength and other capabilities beyond the norm. When not in uniform, he prefers casual clothes ... usually just jeans and T-shirts and the like. However, if there's something that he needs to dress up for, he does know how to choose an outfit that makes him look good.
[ Personality ] – Cheerful and outgoing, Zack is capable of making friends with just about anyone. There's almost nothing that can get him down and he tries not to let things he can't control worry him too much. He's also fiercely loyal to his friends and to whatever cause he may have decided to attach himself to at any given time.
[ History ] – Born in the small town of Gongaga on Gaia, Zack was an only child. His parents were older and there weren't very many other young children in the town for him to play with. Still, Zack grew up to be a friendly and outgoing person, eventually leaving home at around age 14 in order to join ShinRa's military forces.

He lied about his age to get in and aimed for four years to become a member of SOLDIER, ShinRa's elite fighting force. Just before receiving his letter to attend Dusk, he had gained the rank of SOLDIER 1st Class (the highest rank).

While still in the military, he had met both Sephiroth and Cloud (a normal ShinRa soldier) on a few missions. Already friends with them both, Zack was delighted that they would all get to attend Dusk together.

Since coming to Dusk, Zack has been more or less a good student, though he tends to procrastinate and slack off more than is maybe ... advisable. Still, he usually gets his work done and is now in his third year at Dusk.
[ Pets ] – 1 cat; male; long hair ... black with white feet and muzzle; named Oreo
[ Other ] – Along with Angeal's Buster Sword, Zack uses some materia and is very good at hand to hand fighting. The main things he's learning at the school are academic, since he's already had quite a bit of training in magic and weapons while in SOLDIER.
